This Dual Shielded Outdoor Direct Burial CAT6 Enhanced Cable is the perfect fit for installations where the cable will be buried underground in conduit. Featuring 8 conductors (4-Pairs) of solid bare copper with a high density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a low density polyethylene (LDPE) Jacket. This cable includes a dual shielding preventing electrical interferences that could impede your signal. This dual shielding is comprised of aluminum mylar shielding and then wrapped in braided tinned copper which offers two layers of protection from interference. Additionally, this cable has a tinned copper drain wire which grounds the electricity after it has been terminated. This drain wire is required on all shielded cable in order to prevent signal loss, cross-talk, and other performance issues. Primus Cable's  Category 6 Direct Burial Outdoor Cable is designed for residential outdoor direct burial LAN applications, making it the ideal solution for installation runs that require the cable to be buried underground in conduit. Tested to perform at speeds up to 600MHz, it ensures reliable performance in demanding outdoor environments.
